We stayed at Sol Plaza Hotel for one night before our 2-day excursion to the Uros Floating Islands. We were very impressed with the facilities that Sol Plaza Hotel offered. They allowed us to keep our bags for 2 nights and even called a taxi for us to take us to the Kalpajra port. The breakfast included was scrumptious, and the location is super close to the beautiful Plaza de Armas, surrounded by restaurants. It's also convenient to get a mobile plan with Claro and access ATMs nearby. When we returned from Uros, retrieving our bags was no problem, and the reception even helped us call a taxi to the bus terminal. Highly recommended!

Well-equipped accommodations with cable TV and free Wi-Fi is offered at Sol Plaza. This charming hotel is located just of central Plaza de Armas square in the heart of Puno. The private bathrooms at Sol Plaza Hotel have hot water showers and separate bathtubs. The rooms are heated and feature rustic decor with carpeted floors. Extra Oxygen can be provided upon request, when suffering from the high altitude. Guests are invited to a buffet breakfast with juices, breads and cake. During the evening Sol’s restaurant serves Peruvian and international dishes and room service is available as well. Entertainment can be found close to the Hotel. Guests can use laundry services and several massage treatments are available. The front desk can provide info on trips to beautiful Titicaca Lake, bus tickets and excursions to Andes villages in the surroundings of Puno.
