The hotel is so beautiful, the food including breakfast were outstanding. They have a wood fire pizza oven with the most delicious pizza and a grill. Special touches like a face mask in the women’s toiletry bag. The spa is 5 star from start to finish with delicious teas on arrival and at the end. Selecting the natural oils and scrubs. I entered the spa completely stressed and came out feeling pampered and a new me. The thing that puts this hotel in another category is the staff. They don’t go beyond, but beyond beyond. service was great. the fresh coconut with some optional rum was a good start, set the right tone. the breakfast was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. best I've ever had in any hotel, hands down. everything there from freshly prepared thai soup, omelettes, eggs, daily changing thai dishes, fresh juices, etc. the pool is nice. generally the whole place never felt "overrun" or too full. the cocktails are good, they have a really nice and competent "director of mixology". there are some nice (and cheaper) restaurants nearbye, also wan dee dees beach massage can be recommended as opposed to the super expensive hotel spa. the complementary services of the hotel (especially the shuttle to Chaweng) were very helpful, very punctual. the shuttle cars/busses were also very clean and neat, the drivers professional. aircon in our room failed, technicians had it fixed within minutes, very nice. room service twice a day was not necessary, but still a sweet touch.
